About The Author
Trine Bronken grew up on the rough and rocky shores of beautiful Howe Sound in Vancouver, Canada. School life spent as a studious nerd led her to pursue physics at university where, for some reason, she later transferred to business school. Following this were positions in marketing, corporate communications and finance, two kids, and life in general, where she was held at gunpoint in a bank robbery and nearly shot in an armoured car theft. Hiking, skiing, travelling, local history and mysteries and crime thrillers are squeezed into any spare time that can be found. Personal experiences and the beautiful Discovery Coast of British Columbia inspired her to write The Bloody Business of Luck which was longlisted for the 2016 Dundurn Unhanged Arthur Award for Excellence in Canadian Crime Writing.
